The Mid Florida Community Services, Inc. Head Start / Early Head Start staff are here to help during this unprecedented time. Our Head Start centers are currently closed for the remainder of the school year. Early Head Start will tentatively open on June 8, 2020 pending the Governor's direction. However, we are here and helping our families! Our specialists are in contact with families to stay connected and we are continuing to provide needed resources. Our staff has also created a virtual distance learning plan, and we have distributed educational materials. Our Facebook account is consistently updated with a variety of resources. We encourage you to LIKE our Facebook page at MFCS Head Start / Early Head Start Facebook for additional resources and updates. Information regarding the pandemic will be posted below, along with resources for children and families. Our phone lines are available for assistance Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. For Volusia County please call 386-736-1325. For Hernando and Sumter Counties please call 352-754-2464.
